By plane
The nearest airport is Mihail Kogălniceanu International Airport (CND), north of Constanța, about 65 km from Neptun. It has seasonal flights from several European cities. From there you can continue by taxi, rental car or a transfer arranged by the hotel — the drive takes around an hour.
Most international flights land at Bucharest Henri Coandă Airport (OTP). From Bucharest you can rent a car and drive to the coast in about 3 hours, or take a train to the seaside. If you’re travelling from Bulgaria, the border crossing at Vama Veche is only about 20 km south of Neptun.
By car
A car is the most convenient option, especially if you’re travelling as a family with plenty of luggage — and it makes day trips along the coast easy.
From Bucharest
Take the A2 motorway (Autostrada Soarelui) towards Constanța, follow the Constanța ring road and join the DN39 heading south towards Mangalia. You’ll pass Eforie, Costinești and Olimp; Neptun comes right after Olimp. The distance is about 260 km and the drive usually takes around 3 hours — longer on busy summer weekends.
From Constanța
Drive south on the DN39 towards Mangalia for about 40 km. It usually takes 35–45 minutes.

- Leave early on Fridays and Saturdays in July and August to avoid motorway traffic.
- Check-in starts at 5 pm (from 3 pm when available) — plan your arrival accordingly.
